Dave Burman is a partner at Perkins Coie and member of the Advisory Committee on Civil Rules. His cases include two U.S. Supreme Court arguments, the trial contesting the Washington Governor's election, Costco’s antitrust and constitutional challenges to state wine and liquor laws, Yellow Pages publishers' constitutional challenge to municipal restrictions on distribution, and the Pharmaceutical AWP and Opiate MDLs and related state cases. He served as an attorney representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference and on the Ninth Circuit Rules Advisory Committee and is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the American Law Institute, where he was an advisor in drafting the "Principles of Aggregate Litigation." At the start of his career he clerked for Justice Byron White and Judge Spottswood Robinson of the D.C. Circuit after attending Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Wyoming.
