Josh is an associate in Bleichmar Fonti & Auld LLP’s Oakland office, where he focuses on representing consumers in antitrust, product liability, and data privacy class actions. He is a member of the litigation team in the In re Facebook, Inc. Consumer Privacy User Profile Litigation, alleging Facebook’s violated consumer fraud and privacy laws when it shared users’ private information with third parties, such as Cambridge Analytica, without users’ knowledge or consent. Josh is also an active member of The Sedona Conference WG6 group and serves on the drafting team for The Commentary on Proportionality in Cross-Border Discovery. Prior to joining BFA, Josh was a Deputy District Attorney in California’s Contra Costa County, where he prosecuted 10 jury trials to verdict.
