Sherry has nearly 40 years of litigation experience. Her background includes managing all facets of complex litigation, antitrust compliance, corporate records management, legal hold procedures, information governance, and electronic discovery – all with an emphasis on bringing technology to bear to realize significant cost savings and maximize efficiency. Sherry is a charter member of the Georgetown University Law Center eDiscovery Advisory Board and has participated on the planning committee and faculty of Georgetown Law’s Advanced eDiscovery Institute (AEDI), eDiscovery Training Academy, and eDiscovery Practice Support Forum; she was co-chair of the 2014 and 2015 AEDI Planning Committee. Sherry is a charter member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production (WG1) and a former long-term member of the WG1 Steering Committee. She is senior editor of The Sedona Conference Cooperation Guidance for Litigators & In-House Counsel; Steering Committee liaison for The Sedona Conference Database Principles; co-editor or editor of all editions of The Sedona Conference Glossary: E-Discovery & Digital Information Management; and Technology Resource Panel leader for The Sedona Conference Guidance for the Selection of Electronic Discovery Providers.
