First and foremost, Judge Wolin is a trial judge who enjoys the courtroom setting. He has extensive experience in the trial of complex civil litigation and criminal prosecutions. After being a practicing attorney for 20 years, Judge Wolin was appointed to the Union County District Court in 1980, Judge of the Superior Court in 1985, and Judge of the United States District Court in 1988. He is a frequent speaker at educational seminars and institutes in this country and in Europe, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University School of Law, and was recently appointed by Chief Justice William Rehnquist to the Alien Terrorist Removal Court.
