Jim is a partner in the Brussels office of Skadden, Arps and has been practicing EU competition law in Brussels since 1980. His experience includes representing multinational companies, as both plaintiffs and defendants, before the European Commission and the European Courts in proceedings under the Merger Regulation and Articles 81 and 82. Jim has represented clients in a wide range of economic sectors and industries, including telecommunications, air transport, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, computers, steel, flat glass, chemicals, rail transport, financial services, industrial products, consumer goods and media. He also has extensive experience counseling companies on compliance matters and the implementation of compliance programs.
