Gary cochairs the firm’s Antitrust Practice Group, where his practice focuses on international antitrust issues. Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, he was a DOJ prosecutor for 28 years, serving most recently as the Deputy Assistant Attorney General responsible for investigating and prosecuting international cartels and other criminal violations of the U.S. antitrust laws. He was the highest ranking career lawyer in the Antitrust Division, is a two-time recipient of the Presidential Rank Award (Presidents Bush and Clinton) and received a special award from the U.S. Attorney General for Extraordinary Contributions to the Protection of Our Free Market Economy.
