Steven currently serves as Associate General Counsel at Novartis Corporation, an affiliate of Novartis AG, Basel, Switzerland, which is a world leader in the development of products relating to generics, eye care products, medicines, and animal health. Prior to joining Novartis, Steven served as assistant district attorney for the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, prosecuting numerous criminal trials, including several murder cases under District Attorney Robert M. Morgenthau. In addition, he spent five years with the private law firms Cahill Gordon and Reindel and Christy and Veiner.
