Melanie is senior counsel at Bell Canada in the Toronto litigation group, which is responsible for all litigation outside of Quebec. In addition to supervising litigation handled by outside counsel, she has a full caseload of files handled in-house and has considerable experience dealing with electronic discovery. Prior to joining Bell Canada, Melanie practised commercial litigation at a litigation boutique in Toronto where she specialized in class actions and other complex commercial litigation. In particular, she was trial and appellate counsel in Kerr v Danier, the first securities class action in Canada to proceed to trial.
