Randy V. Sabett

Randy, a Certified Information
Systems Security Professional (CISSP) as well as an attorney, advises high technology
and emerging-growth companies, focusing on information security,
patents, and licensing. He is Co-Vice Chair of the ABA's Information Security
Committee (ISC), Co-Rapporteur for the ISC's PKI Assessment Guidelines
(PAG)(Public Release for Comment, June 2001), and served on the Editorial
Committee for the Digital Signature Guidelines (1996). Randy was also a member of
the X9F5 working group within the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
that developed American National Standard (ANS) X9.79, the "PKI Practices and
Policy Framework" (2000). In addition to teaching Information Policy at George
Washington University, Mr. Sabett is a frequent speaker on both legal and technical
issues involving information security and has published numerous articles in the
area.
