Jonathan J. Rusch

Jonathan is
Special Counsel for Fraud Prevention, Fraud Section, Criminal Division, at the U.S.
Department of Justice. He is the coordinator of the Internet Fraud Initiative, a
nationwide DOJ initiative to increase Internet fraud prosecutions and to foster
Internet fraud prevention and education initiatives. Since 1997, he also has served
as the U.S. Co-Chair of the U.S-Canada Working Group on Cross-Border Mass-
Marketing Fraud. Jonathan has been the lead prosecutor in major fraud and public
corruption prosecutions by the DOJ and in 1995 he received the Attorney General's
Distinguished Service Award for his work in investigating the House Bank scandal.
Since 1996, Mr. Rusch has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown
University Law Center, where he teaches courses on Global Cybercrime Law,
Comparative and International Law of Cyberspace, and Trial Practice.
