Robert is a partner in the Health Care Group at Crowell & Moring and has been in private practice since 1993. Before practicing privately, Mr. Roth served in government at both the federal and state levels, representing the Health Care Financing Administration (renamed the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) as a member of the Office of the General Counsel of the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, serving as an Assistant Attorney General assigned to Maryland’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and counseling the Maryland General Assembly. He will be serving as Section Chair of the American Bar Association’s Health Law Section for 2001-2002; he also serves on the Advisory Board of BNA’s Health Law Reporter and Health Care Fraud Report. Bob has published and spoken extensively on health law topics.
