Matt serves as Corporate Counsel for the compliance team at Yahoo! Inc., advising a team responsible for legal compliance with U.S. laws related to law enforcement access, including the Electronic Communications Privacy Act and USA PATRIOT Act, as well as third party civil discovery requests in "John Doe" litigation and the associated privacy and free expression issues. Mr. Robinson also oversees the Digital Millennium Copyright Act compliance function and advises the company on liability issues for yahoo.com products and services, including user misconduct, content liability and consumer protection.
