Malcolm is a patent attorney and registered electrical engineer; his current practice focuses on intellectual property law, including patent prosecution, licensing, and infringement litigation. Prior to joining Gray Plant, he served as VP and General Counsel of Network Systems Corporation, a computer networking vendor, and as General Counsel of Fabri-Tek, a computer components vendor; he also worked in the 3M legal department. Malcolm is a member of the Minnesota Supreme Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Neutral Roster.
