From 1986 through 1999, Tom supervised the Antitrust Division of the Minnesota Attorney General's Office, making it one of the most activist state antitrust units in the country. He has litigated criminal and civil antitrust cases, and was the state's lead in-house lawyer in the Minnesota Tobacco Litigation. In private practice Tom provides antitrust counseling and currently represents plaintiffs in the Northwest Airlines and Vitamin cases.
