Sandra Potter

Sandra is Managing Director of Potter Farrelly & Associates and an internationally recognised expert in the law and technology field. She has developed highly specialized knowledge concerning litigation management and the adoption of technology to control both paper-based and electronic material in legal processes. In Sandra's 20-year career as a legal technology consultant, she has worked with law firms, in-house legal teams and the courts throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and Canada. She has extensive experience in the implementation of Technology Practice Directions and electronic evidence protocols for courts, and has been involved in the initial drafting and review of these in a variety of jurisdictions including Australia, Canada, the UK and a number of United Nations international courts and tribunals. Most recently Sandra co-wrote a chapter of the international reference work E-Justice: Using Information Communication Technologies in the Court System (published by IGI Global in July, 2008), highlighting technological innovations in Australian eCourts. Her innovative work and industry leadership has been featured in print media, television news and radio.
