Mr. Justice Elliot Myers was appointed to the British Columbia Court in 2005. Prior to that, he was senior litigation partner at the Vancouver law firm of Bull, Housser & Tupper and headed its commercial litigation group. Justice Myers had had longstanding experience and interest in the use of computer technology in litigation and electronic disclosure issues. Mr. Justice Myers was a member of the committee that led to the Court issuing its Electronic Practice Directive in 2006 and is a member of the Court's Technology and E-Filing committees. He has written several decisions on electronic disclosure.
