James H. Mutchnik

James Mutchnik is a partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis focusing on antitrust and trade regulation and white collar criminal defense. He heads Kirkland's e-discovery training program for attorneys and legal assistants firm-wide. He has extensive criminal and civil trial and investigative experience, including the successful prosecution of three former executives for price-fixing in the lysine market. He has lectured on e-discovery matters at various seminars, including Kroll OnTrack's "Thought Leaders in Electronic Discovery" series. Mr. Mutchnik joined Kirkland & Ellis from the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. He received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 1989 and was that year's recipient of the Wigmore Key Award.
