Kristian handles many different areas of legal work at Best Buy, including class actions, major contracts, acquisitions and divestitures, employee rewards, advertising and marketing, competition issues, regulatory issues, consumer protection, and others. He is fluent in French, works closely with Best Buy's Québec operations and is also a member of Best Buy's pension committee. He began his legal career in Vancouver at what is now Boughton (then Boughton Peterson Yang Anderson). Prior to moving to Best Buy Canada Ltd. in 2005, Kristian spent three years in the Vancouver office of Stikeman Elliott LLP. He is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 7, "Sedona Canada.
