Mary Ann currently plays dual roles at American Standard Companies, as Chief Legal Officer, Intellectual Property company-wide, and VP and General Counsel of the bath and kitchen business. In her role as Chief Legal Officer, IP, she works with teams of lawyers and technology groups to establish strategic direction for creation, protection and exploitation of intellectual property, as well as leads the licensing and litigation efforts. Before joining American Standard, Mary Ann was Chief IP Counsel for Honeywell International's materials businesses, and also spent several years working for BASF Corporation, coordinating closely with the intellectual property group of the parent company, BASF AG.
