William is the co-managing partner of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr. In addition to his firm responsibilities he continues to concentrate his practice on intellectual property and commercial litigation and has extensive trial experience. During the period 1987 through 1989, William served as a prosecutor on the staff of the Independent Counsel for the Iran-Contra investigation, He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and serves on the Board of Overseers of Harvard University and is a member of the Visiting Committee at Cornel Law School.
