Michelle K. Lee
Google Inc., Mountain View, CA

Michelle is Associate General Counsel and Head of Patents and Patent Strategy at Google, where she is responsible for all patents and various other IP matters. Prior to her position at Google, Michelle was a partner in the Patent, Licensing and Intellectual Property groups at Fenwick & West LLP in the Silicon Valley. She clerked for Chief Judge Vaughn R. Walker of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, where she worked on the precedent-setting copyright infringement case of Apple v. Microsoft, and for Chief Judge Paul R. Michel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Michelle received her M.S in computer science her B.S. in electrical engineering, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she graduated at the top of her class. At MIT, she was awarded the prestigious National Science Foundation Fellowship for graduate studies in Computer Science.
