Janet is a partner in Reed Smith's Product Liability group and serves as the firm's Director of Complex Litigation E-Discovery. For four years in a row, Janet has been selected by her peers as one of Southern California's "Super Lawyers." Her litigation practice focuses on the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, and the defense of complex product liability cases as national and local counsel in state and federal courts, including the Silicone Gel Breast Implant, Diet Drug and Heart Valve litigations. Janet also counsels clients in corporate internal investigations, government investigations in the fraud and abuse area, clinical trial contracts, adverse event reporting, development of best practices for electronic data management and e-discovery in U.S. and foreign jurisdictions, and foreign data privacy laws.
