Dr. Waltraut Kotschy
Austrian Data Protection Commission, Vienna, Austria

Dr. Kotschy is Chairwoman of Austrian Data Protection Commission. A graduate in law from the University of Vienna and in economics from the University of Economics in Vienna, she worked as an assistant professor at the Public Law Institute. In the 1970's, Dr. Kotschy embarked on a distinguished career in data protection in the Austrian Federal Chancellery, serving since 1993 as Austria's senior data protection official.
