Dawson is Senior Litigation Counsel for Tyco International in Princeton, New Jersey where, in addition to ediscovery responsibilities, he manages a docket of product liability, insurance and commercial litigation. Previously, he served as Assistant General Counsel at Altria for eight years and his primary responsibilities were in the areas of product liability and civil RICO litigation. Dawson managed Altria's defense in the multi-billion dollar RICO lawsuit by the Justice Department against the major U.S. cigarette companies. Prior to joining Altria, Dawson worked as an in-house attorney for the Dannon Companies, United Auto Group, Campbell Soup Company, and Scott Paper Company. He began his career as a litigation associate with Pepper Hamilton & Scheetz. He is an expert in transactional and litigation matters.
