George is The Edward Cornell Professor of Law and Professor of Economics at Cornell University.After he received his Ph.D. in economics from Northwestern University, George taught economics at Yale University for five years until he joined the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division in 1972. He has written on a number of aspects of competition law and he has testified in dozens of competition law cases in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States.
