Karen is a partner at Pallett Valo, where she practises corporate and commercial litigation and has appeared before all levels of Ontario courts with a specific focus on the preservation and enforcement of construction liens, bonding and trust claims, as well as information technology and intellectual property disputes. She also has experience acting for both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad spectrum of corporate commercial litigation including corporate and shareholder disputes; complex contractual disputes; creditor's rights to enforce real and personal property security; claims involving fraudulent transactions; and professional negligence claims including accountants, lawyers, engineers, and architects liability cases. Karen was a member of the Electronic Discovery Sub-Committee of the Task Force on the Discovery Process in Ontario, which produced the Guidelines for the Discovery of Electronic Documents in Ontario, and is an active member of The Sedona ConferenceŽ Working Group 7, "Sedona Canada."
