Cecilia's specialty is Section 337 litigation, brought by companies against competitors who, they allege, are importing products into the U.S. that infringe on the plaintiffs' intellectual property. She is currently on Howrey's Executive Board and is Vice-Chair of the firm's Intellectual Property Group. Considering herself a "lawyer's lawyer", many of Cecilia's clients are high-tech companies and their technologies range from optics to semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, recombinant gene therapy, and computer software.
