Steven is the Welcome D. & W. DeVier Pierson Professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Since 2005, he has been a member of the Advisory Committee on Civil Rules. Steve also serves as the Vice-Chair of the Oklahoma Bar Association Committee on Civil Procedure and as a member of the Local Civil Rules Committee for the Western District of Oklahoma. He is the author of Thomson-West's leading single-volume practice treatise on the Civil Rules, titled Federal Rules of Civil Procedure: Rules and Commentary (2009).
