Deborah is a partner in the Washington, DC office of Covington and Burling LLP where she co-chairs the firm's Antitrust and Consumer Law Practice Group. Prior to joining Covington in 2009, she served as Acting Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. With over twenty-five years of legal experience, Deborah has been involved in some of the largest antitrust matters in recent history, including the merger of Exxon and Mobil, the U.S. government's suit against Microsoft, and various other matters on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and government-sponsored enterprises. In 2007, she was listed as one of the "50 Most Influential Women in America" by The National Law Journal. Deborah is a leader in the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association and currently serves as a member of the Section Council.
