James is Chair of the firm's Intellectual Property Group and also serves on the firm's Management Committee. His practice is devoted to intellectual property law, specializing in patent litigation in complex technical cases. He has represented clients in both jury and bench trials in federal district courts, state courts, and in the International Trade Commission. His practice also involves extensive appellate work in intellectual property cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
