Georges is Commissioner in charge of European and International Affairs at the CNIL. He is trained as an engineer and was a long-time associate of President Giscard d'Estaing. Georges served as a former treasurer of UDF and as a regional counselor of Basse-Normandie, the president of the Committee for the development of that region, and as a member of the Economic and Social Council in the Finance section.
