Jim's practice encompasses a broad range of complex and technology-related litigation. He has handled matters involving software licensing and related claims of copyright and patent infringement, contract and warranty disputes, fraud, and deceptive trade practices. Jim's practice has also included class action software litigation involving alleged operating system defects, and the marketing of software. His degree in computer science enables him to approach and understand computer and software related disputes from both a legal and a technical perspective. Most recently, Jim has begun to devote attention to the litigation risks and implications of internet security flaws and intrusions.
