Judge Corodemus has returned to private practice leading a national practice group in Alternative Dispute Resolution in her firm. Prior to her 2004 retirement from the bench, Judge Corodemus was the sole mass tort judge for the State of New Jersey for many years in the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. As the mass tort Judge she was principally responsible for pioneering the concept of the "paperless courtroom" in mass torts, therefore creating the foundation for the case management of mass torts throughout state courts. She handled mass tort cases including tobacco, asbestos, FRT Plywood, Silicone Breast Implants, Fen-Phen Diet Drugs, Pondimin, Lead Paint, Propulsid, Rezulin, PPA, latex gloves, and numerous ground water/air pollution cases involving cancer clusters, property damages, and consumer fraud such as the case against Cooper Tire Industries. Judge Corodemus is a frequent lecturer throughout the country on mass torts, class actions, and aggregate litigation.
