Professor Capra is the Philip Reed Professor of Law at Fordham, where he teaches criminal procedure, evidence, and professional responsibility. He is also the Reporter to the Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on the Federal Rules of Evidence. As the Reporter to the Judicial Conference Committee on Electronic Case Filing Rules, Dan drafted Model Rules on electronic case filing. He also drafted Privacy Rules to comply with the E-Government Act of 2002 for the Judicial Conference. The author of numerous casebooks and articles on evidence law, Dan is a frequent lecturer on evidence issues for the Federal Judicial Center's judicial education workshops and conferences.
