Justice Campbell was appointed to Judiciary in June 1998 after a distinguished career in commercial litigation and competition law with the firm now known as McCarthy Tétrault, where he was best known for his medical malpractice defense work. Justice Campbell led the Task Force on the Discovery Process in Ontario that resulted in the development of eDiscovery Guidelines for the province. Justice Campbell is a member of the Steering Committee of The Sedona Conference's Working Group 7 ("Sedona Canada") and a sought-after speaker on electronic discovery issues.
