Elizabeth is a founding partner of Lieff Cabraser with 30 years of experience representing plaintiffs in securities, investment, product liability, consumer fraud, mass tort, civil rights, and employment discrimination litigation, in federal and state courts across the country. She has served as court-appointed lead or co-lead counsel in over 80 federal multidistrict and state coordinated proceedings. Elizabeth's litigation, trial, and settlement experience includes the FPI/Agretech, Breast Implants, Telectronics, Cordis, Felbatol, Felbatol, Fen-Phen, Baycol, and Vioxx litigation; and work for smokers, Attorneys General and the Cities and Counties of California in the Tobacco litigation. She teaches complex litigation at the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall) and is Editor-in-Chief of the treatise California Class Action Practice and Procedure (LexisNexis). Elizabeth has been named repeatedly as one of the National Law Journal's "100 Most Influential Lawyers in America," its "50 Most Influential Women Lawyers," and its "Top Ten Women Litigators." She has been included in the Daily Journal's "Top 100 Lawyers" every year since 1998 and its "Top Women Litigators" every year since 2005.
