His Honour Judge Simon Brown QC is the Specialist Mercantile Judge sitting at the Birmingham Civil Justice Centre. He is committed to making civil justice fully embrace the 'electronic age' in the UK, having drafted a new website for the Mercantile Courts in England & Wales hosted by Her Majesty's Court Service. Judge Brown is a regular lecturer at judicial and lawyer training sessions and a speaker and panelist at conferences on electronic disclosure. During 2009, he is assisting Lord Justice Jackson with e-disclosure issues for the Lord Justice's Report on Costs.
