Prof. Timothy F. Bresnahan

Prof. Bresnahan is Chair of the Department of Economics at Stanford University, and the Landau Professor in Technology and the Economy. From 1999-2000 he served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Chief Economist for the Antitrust Division of the U.S. DOJ, and from 1984-1998 he served as Co-Editor and Associate Editor of the RAND Journal of Economics. Professor Bresnahan has published broadly, and serves on numerous professional committees and associations. He is a Senior Fellow, SIEPR, a Fellow of the Econometric Society, and has been on the Steering Committee of the Industrial Organization Program, National Bureau of Economic Research from 1990 to the present.
