Howard is Counsel in Residence at the University of Minnesota Law School, where he is establishing the Corporate Institute that will augment the strong business concentration programs for J.D. and LL.M. students, provide opportunities for students to meet practicing business counselors, and deepen the Law School's relationship with the business community. Previously, he worked at 3M Company for 25 years, including five years in Brussels, Belgium, as general counsel of 3M's Europe, Middle East, and Africa organizations. Howard has been involved in antitrust/competition law issues throughout his career and has spoken at various antitrust/competition conferences in the U.S. and Europe, including the Antitrust Conference of The Sedona Conference^®.
