Steve is a partner in the New York office of Jones Day, where his practice focuses on domestic and international commercial litigation and arbitration, including cases involving bankruptcy, construction, corporate, energy, insurance, intellectual property, and securities. He also serves as chair of the firm's e-Discovery Committee. Before joining Jones Day, Steve served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York and Chief of its Tax and Bankruptcy Unit. He is a member of the Large Case Advisory Committee for the American Arbitration Association and a member of the ADR Subcommittee of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Civil Litigation. Steve is the author of Arbitration: Essential Concepts (American Lawyer Media, 2002) and writes a continuing column, "Arbitration," which has appeared in the New York Law Journal since 2004. He is a founding member of The Sedona ConferenceŽ Working Group 6 on International Electronic Information Management, Discovery and Disclosure.
