Steven is head of Proskauer Rose's Boston office, and leads the firm's New England-based Patent Litigation Group. He has over twenty years of experience concentrating exclusively in matters relating to complex patent and other intellectual property enforcement, litigation, and dispute resolution. Steven has been lead trial counsel in matters involving surgical and other medical devices; genetic and bimolecular science; financial software and business method processes; high-energy plasma systems; telecommunications, VoIP and SONET switching, voice recognition and cable technology; nanotechnology; polymer chemistry; high temperature superconductors; and encryption, digital compression and error correction techniques. He has been an adjunct professor at Boston University School of Law and speaks regularly to leading patent law and industry groups.
