Ken is Of Counsel in the Electronics Group. He began his legal career clerking for Justice Hugo Black of the Supreme Court. In the past 30 years, he has gained extensive experience briefing and arguing cases in federal and state courts across the country. Ken's background education in chemistry and his practical experience in electronics and software give him unique insights into presentation of intellectual property cases at the appellate level. He is also an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University Law Center, and is a Past President of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and a founding Master of the Edward Coke Inn of Appellate Practice. He has been significantly involved in every recent Supreme Court case involving patents.
