The Honorable David A. Baker serves as a United States Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of Florida. Prior to his appointment to the bench in 1991, he was a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP practicing commercial litigation. He has served on the Committee on Automation and Technology for the Judicial Conference of the United States and has been active in the District Court's Automation Committee, among others. Since becoming a Magistrate Judge, he has lectured, written and served as a panelist on numerous Continuing Legal Education Seminars for the bench and the bar, on information technology topics, electronic evidence, labor law, and federal court practice.
