Tuesday, June 17 – Introductory Session
Begin with eDiscovery 101, an accessible introduction to the fundamentals of eDiscovery. This session is ideal for legal professionals new to the field or those seeking a practical refresher on key concepts, terminology, and workflows.

Thursday, June 19 – Main Program
A series of expert-led sessions will examine critical issues in today’s eDiscovery landscape, including:

  • The application and implications of artificial intelligence in legal practice

  • Practical challenges in the collection of electronic evidence

  • Judicial perspectives and recent Canadian case law developments

  • The financial considerations of eDiscovery, including the use of large language models

This session will delve into the financial aspects of eDiscovery, covering essential components such as eDiscovery preparedness, data collection, processing, hosting, and document review. Additionally, we will examine the impact of Large Language Models on eDiscovery, discussing the benefits and potential cost implications.
