In January 2010, The Sedona ConferenceŽ, in association with the Academy of Court Appointed Masters, presented its first-ever training program on eDiscovery Dispute Resolution for Special Masters and Mediators in Phoenix, AZ. The program featured a stellar faculty of judges, experienced e-discovery practitioners, and experts drawn from The Sedona ConferenceŽ Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production (WG1), authors of The Sedona Principles and other authoritative commentaries. More than 60 experienced special masters, mediators, arbitrators, and other legal and commercial dispute resolution professionals were involved in this intensive two-day training program.

In this 90-minute webinar, three of the faculty and the program chairs will present an overview of the program, exploring the use of court-appointed special masters and mediators, and taking your questions, in the following areas:

- Preservation of ESI
- Scope and Proportionality in eDiscovery
- Cost Allocation
- The Use of Search Terms & Other Cost-Effective Automated Search Technologies
- Appropriate Forms of ESI Production & Supervision of Forensic Inspections
- Privilege Issues in eDiscovery
