The 6th Annual Sedona Conference® Institute Program on Staying Ahead of the eDiscovery Curve

Mar 22 - Mar 23, 2012
Four Seasons Hotel, St. Louis, MO

Agenda

Panelists

The Sedona Conference® Institute is pleased to present its Sixth Annual Program on Staying Ahead of the eDiscovery Curve, with several new faculty members (including five state and federal judges) and an updated agenda, keeping this program fresh, timely, practical, and of immediate benefit to all. As one of last year's participants commented, the program provides "outstanding, helpful, informative, cutting edge, provocative, useful information that allows participants to go back and 'hit the ground running'" (Ariana Spikener, California Dept. of Conservation, Sacramento, CA).

As always, this year's program will provide a rare opportunity to gain valuable insight into best practices and strategies for eDiscovery to meet judicial expectations while reducing costs, presented by members of The Sedona Conference® Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production (WG1) - the Working Group responsible for The Sedona Principles, The Sedona Guidelines for Managing Information in the Digital Age, Achieving Quality, and a host of other commentaries addressing real world issues in today's ESI discovery environment.

This year's program will feature panels focused on the following issues:

-Caselaw & Rules Update;
-Can We Take the Fear Out of Pre-Suit Preservation - A View from the Bench;
-In-House Counsel Roundtable - Apportioning Responsibility Among In-House Counsel, Outside Counsel, & Vendors;
-Strategies for Preservation & Legal Holds;
-Strategies for Identification, Collection & Culling;
-Strategies for Requesting & Producing ESI in the Cloud (including Social Media);
-Strategies to Achieve Proportional Discovery for Both Requesting Parties & Responding Parties;
-Ethics in eDiscovery; and
-eDiscovery: The Next Five Years.

TO REGISTER, just click on the "To Register" Navigation Bar, download the registration form and fax or mail it in as indicated on the form. Since this program has always filled up early and we have always had a long wait-list of people who wanted to get in, we have expanded our capacity this year to 200 participants, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Members of The Sedona Conference® Working Group Series, and in-house members of ARMA International, will receive a $100 discount, and government employees will receive a $250 discount, IF they indicate their Working Group membership, ARMA International membership, or government employment on their registration forms. (Discounts cannot be combined). We have a group rate for lodging at the Program hotel; further hotel reservation information is provided upon Conference Registration. Financial Aid policy is available upon request.

We are applying for advance accreditation for 11 hours of MCLE credit, including 1 hour of ethics credit, in states requested by those who register. We will also be applying for ICRM Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) credits.
