The Sedona Conference® International Programme on Cross-Border eDiscovery & Data Privacy
The Sedona Conference® International Programme on Cross-Border
eDiscovery and Data Privacy will be held in Barcelona, Spain to tackle
the timely and important issues regarding the harmonization of cross-
border discovery and data privacy, including:
(1) The conflict between data privacy and cross-border discovery
obligations
(2) Criminal and civil consequences of non-compliance with data
privacy or ediscovery
(3) Practical steps to mitigate risk in litigation, regulatory
activity and arbitration contexts
(4) Public and private efforts to harmonize these competing interests,
including the new EU Article 29 Working Party document on cross-border
discovery
This programme provides a timely forum for those wrestling with these issues to engage in cutting-edge discussions with Data Commissioners, governmental officials, leading jurists, privacy officers, corporate counsel, private practitioners and consultants.
Given the location and special nature of this programme, attendance is by invitation only. If you would like to apply for an invitation, please complete the downloadable registration form on this page and fax it to 602-258-2499 and write "Application" on the top.
