John is a partner with Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP and chairs the firm’s Cyber, Privacy, and AI Litigation Team. Based in Phoenix, John represents clients in a wide range of privacy and cybersecurity matters in both Arizona and California, and he has extensive litigation and regulatory experience in a number of jurisdictions.  John is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional, has spoken and written on a variety of privacy and cybersecurity subjects, and hosts the Phoenix Chapter of the CISO Executive Network. Before joining Womble Bond Dickinson, John served as Senior Litigation Counsel, Data Privacy Team Leader, and FinTech Sandbox Counsel at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, where he drafted much of Arizona’s current breach-notification law and co-chaired the Technology Futures Subgroup of the Arizona Cybersecurity Team.
